Research - to search  or search  for again.


Investigate - to examine, study, or inquire into systematically; search orexamine into the particulars of; examine in detail.


Inquire - to seek information by questioning; ask: to inquire about aperson.


The primary difference in the three is that when you research you just search, inquire is to search by using questions, and to Investigate is to study all previous information or to even go into more depth on the subject

The main difference is that the scientific method is more analitical and it solves a problem while the creative process is used to create or even furnish an idea

Where do artist get there inspiration?

Where do artist get there inspiration?

Artist get there inspiration from everything.  Nature, there friends, something they've read, or even from life.
My inspiration comes in music and from God, thats what I feel in my gut is right and its what keeps me chuging along

I love the quote.  Civilization in this instance could be substituded for community.  Community in itself is an amazing thing and without it we would be nothing.  Humans are in need of a companion ( Gen 1: 27?), we where ment to be in community and have people to love and to care for so we can in fact be fully human and driving out the purpose of Gods plan in that.

Define Manga,  Grant Wood

Manga - Japanesee Comic strip, difined by a different style than americanized comics

Grant Wood - Famous painter who seems to focus on shape and balance in his art and the overall geometrical makeup of it

He created graphic novels, basicly the american way for comics to become more encorperated in literature and to gain respect in the novelest's field

Dr. Suess and Frank Frazetta

Simularies besides both being amazing artists' and being well know in the art world i can think of none

Differences just there styles for starters, Suess would use a more cartoony childish aprowch to his art while Frank has gone much deeper without college or any education in art and such.  He didn't go to college like Suess and they have influenced a different scope of people in all

Change in comics

Well Batman, Superman, and the Fantastic four have all changed in some way shape or form. May it be the artist that designed them or the very fabric of how the Character has stood for or how they had fought evil and such. Like Captain America and how he has changed with feathers on his uniform now and that is due to a new character designe.  But hes not the only one. Batman also has and well what he stands for in general.  But that change really happened to all comic book heros when they went into that so

What does the Lascaux Cave Painting, the Bayeux Tapestry and the Hokuasi Mange have in commun?

The pressence of horses in them is the first noticable thing. But the horse means something in each of these time periods that they where made. In the Lascaux cave painting the horses appear to be free and non tame, while in the others the horse is a means for transport and a mean for war, like today how the car is ours.

Comic Book Styles

So in Comic's there are in fact 3 different styles in writing them. Manga, Cartoon, and American Comic.

The Manga style although subtily different from the other allows the artist's to show case there art as well as there Timeline and such things.

The Cartoon doesn't really show case the art as much as the comidey present in it, and alows the artist to focus more on there unique puns and timelines in it.

The American Comic book style is in fact the oldest and the one that most people will try to master since it is easily assessable and such. Allows the artist to open up the art in more ways than just the timeline and backround it also allows the artist to use more action and have it just

Define Comic

Comic by dictionary.com is well... not really a good definition. Its defination goes into that a "comic" should be comical and humerous, but if you've read any kind of comic book / strip, that they do have a pun or two but for the most part they are in fact serious and have a plot pertaining to that serious or comical tone present in it.

Define Illustration

An Illustration to me though, is anything that a person creates that illustrates something or portrays some kind of emmotion

Differences and Simulaites between Leonardo DaVinci and Jackson Pollock

They Both care about how lines are used. Everything i have seen of Pollock's is abstract but the lines show so much more that a curve, they show the simitry and the 4 squares of ballence going on through his piece's. Da Vinci use's lines for a simular reason and he creates ballance and simitry through out his art.

One difference could be that well Pollock is a more abstract artist, and Da Vinci is well more concreate, creative but concreate nun the least

Lines

What is a line? A line to me is a sequence of dots that happen to touch and help create the contures of a piece of art.  But not only this a line could also be simbolic of many many things that take place here and in other places and there is a line that happens to keep us from there

How is light used in art?

Light in art unvales a certain area in the piece, it alows a person to be negitive or a possitive light, while killing dead space with light and other such things

This means to me that an artist has no limitations and that it doesnt madder your backround but anything is possible in art

Define Aesthetics

It means by dictionary.com the branch of philosophy dealing with such notions as thebeautiful, the ugly, the sublime, the comic, etc., asapplicable to the fine arts, with a view to establishing themeaning and validity of critical judgments concerning worksof art, and the principles underlying or justifying suchjudgments.


So what on earth could this mean to me? Well, this means to me as a musician, that what ever I or another person plays could hold some sway on somebody's emotions or state of mind.


What is aesthetic to me? Music, some eye candy paintings believe it or not. Eye candy art just makes me stand back a reallize just how small i really am in the skeem of the greatest artist, God. So i guess nature itself could be aesthetic to me.
